The new tour "The buildings of Syntagma Square, those that were saved and those that were demolished" designed and carried out by MONUMENTA for the schools participating in the Program "The child, the city and the monuments" of the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, (school year 2023-24) concerns the neoclassical buildings of Syntagma Square and beyond. The tour is a journey to Athens of the 19th century, to neoclassicism, to daily life, to the history of the place. The tour looks for the causes of the destruction of the architectural heritage that leads to the loss of historical memory and identity.
On Monday, February 26, 2024, the first walk with the students and teachers took place at the 22nd GEL of Athens.
