ARCHIMEDES
A three-storey neoclassical building of early 20th century, known with the name ARCHIMEDES, used by the Archimedes Marine Academy (established in 1933) for many years. With a subsequent addition of important size. The old shell has been abandoned. The building has been listed (Gov. Gazette 453/B/1983).

Monument of the Day
House
Three-storey building f the modern movement. It was built in 1930's and roofed the "Maron Renieri" Ballet School (1932-1987). It was also the house of Maria Maron Renieri. It was donated to the Ministry of Culture after her death. It now houses the Ephorate of Paleoanthropology and Speleology.
