Kalamina Mines at Limenaria, island of Thassos
Giorgos Tentes, Mines' Engineer On the island of Thassos, at the "Mines" area, stand the relics of zinc and lead processing, a site that charms visitors. Furnaces, trolley funiculars, an aqueduct, rusts are scattered around on the steep slope. The municipality and various carriers are striving to enhance the area, even though facing difficulties due to the problematic ownership state.
