The roots of the violence aimed at pedestrians
The Movement for the protection of pedestrians' rights |
The problems faced by pedestrians in Athens, or generally in Greek towns and cities can be seen immediately by anyone who takes the care to look around them, and more so to those who try to walk the street: few or no obstacle - free pedestrian areas. Most pavements are ultered with rubbish, blocked by deliver vans and their goods, parked cars, tables + chairs and anything else one might decide to abandon on pavement. |
