Zero’s lake
Zetta Antonopoulou, archaeologist,MSc N.T.U.A. Zero’s lake, included in the Natura 2000 program, is a place of natural beauty. Besides the lake, there is a unique forest and the Paidopolis, a small village- camp built in 1950 for the orphans of the war. The area belongs to three municipalities and maybe this is why there has been a disagreement concerning its protection and development, even though there have been several attempts in the past.

Stelios Lekakis
Stelios Lekakis, archaeologist Α day’s route along the remains of Eridanos (physical and man-made) that continues to flow below the city of Athens. The Syndagma Square, the Monastiraki area and the Kerameikos are places that the river could be recognised. A descriptive overview of the attempts to manage the flow of the river and of their presence on the Athenian landscape.
