PechaKucha is an alternative way of presenting ideas and activities of up and coming experts in architecture, design, reportage, gastronomy, applied arts, photography, fashion et al. 20 images x 20 seconds is the protocol of the presentations – a limitation in order to have simple, short, comprehensive presentations accurate and humoristic. The initial idea was born in Tokyo in 2003 at the architectural office ‘Klein-Dytham Architecture’ and know is spread in well over 700 cities worldwide.
The word pechakucha is the onomatopoeic Japanese word for the sound of conversation.
