The European Environment Agency has been delivering information on Europe's environment to politicians, scientists and the general public for more than a decade, mainly in the traditional form of a report. In order to make full use of the internet's interactive possibilities, the EEA has developed an environmental encyclopaedia; known as "Epaedia".
